A little story how we began…

The Belarusian word "лёс" (lyos) means"destiny". Since childhood linen has been an integral part of our lives. Within the summer holidays, our grandma covers the bed with 100% linen bed sheets. We flew in dreams over blue-eyed Belarus… When we are gathering with friends and family to share time, emotions and feelings, the menu needn’t be intricate, just the very simple enjoyment of the company of loved ones and a table laid with the gift of the Earth – natural linen.

Linen is about the culture and nature of Belarus; about the sky and the earth under white wings; it is about travel and coming home; it is about the history of the country and – what is very important – about the future.

There was always a magical feeling that linen would shape our lives. And it come true, our destiny (lyos / лёс) has overtaken us. LYOS Linen was born accidentally, in a conversation between three friends (already four... we didn't know itthen) and started as a few bedding sets made exclusively for friends and family. Today LYOS is a small yet expanding family business. We work with the established mills and family-run weavers to bring the quality of linen and care of the Earth into your life.
